Welcome to Ellicott School District! It is my pleasure to welcome you to a new athletic season and to thank you for choosing to be part of our Ellicott community.
Participation in athletics is about much more than wins and losses. It is an opportunity to develop character, leadership, resilience, and lifelong friendships while representing your school and community with pride. Every practice, competition, and team experience provides valuable lessons that extend well beyond the playing field.
As student-athletes, you are ambassadors for Ellicott School District. We encourage you to strive for excellence in the classroom, compete with integrity, respect your teammates and opponents, and demonstrate good sportsmanship in every situation. Your commitment to balancing academics, athletics, and personal responsibility is what will make our programs successful.
I also want to recognize the important role our families, coaches, and community members play in supporting our student-athletes. Your encouragement, dedication, and partnership help create a positive environment where every student has the opportunity to grow and succeed.
